LAMCO LFL® Joists & beam help builder eliminate columns & open walls

A couple went to their builder, Alan Barbro of CT, with a house plan for which they loved the exterior curb appeal. The interior layout though was not as open as they wished.

Alan called his supplier KRIS BACKMAN at NATIONAL LUMBER Inc of CT knowing they stocked a the LAMCO engineered wood product lines that would give him the flexibility of design that his clients needed.

Not only was Kris able to accomplish the design improvements for him, but he was also able to clear span entire rooms and open up a bearing wall, eliminating costly columns in the basement that were no longer needed with the strength of LAMCO LFL® in the new design.
